At Ballybar Ireland, we are a bespoke country lifestyle outfitter with a healthy desire for all things farming, horses and the great outdoors.
A born & raised farming Aussie girl, I moved to Co. Carlow Ireland in 2011. And yes I met an Irish farmer in Australia & followed him back to Ireland. We have recently made the transition from tillage & beef to dairy farming, which if possible has laid my roots more firmly in the Irish farming community.
Through living & working in the Irish countryside, I am constantly inspired by the beauty & history of Irish farms. The name Ballybar came about through chatting to neighbours about the Ballybar racecourse that was located just over our back field. The Ballybar races ran from the 1760's until the early 20th century. My inherited love for all things horse, cattle & country life seemed to draw me to the wonderful history of what the Ballybar races would of been.
While attending trade shows & meeting with boutique designers, I have selected a range of beautifully hand crafted pieces. I am confident you will love Ballybar's offering. Our cow hide leather belts, wool felt fedora hats, individually designed feather hat pins & brooches & Irish made jewellery will soon become your go to accessories for any event.
