At Ballybar Ireland, we believe that women are not just part of the agricultural story — they are leading it. From the farmyard to the newsroom, from the saddle to the policy table, women are changing the face of modern agriculture.
This autumn, we’re launching a special campaign to celebrate the incredible women shaping agriculture and rural life. The series will shine a light on farmers, vets, equine professionals, agri-journalists, food producers, and leaders across the sector.
Through short reels and stories, we’ll share the voices of women who:
-
Work hands-on in fields, sheds, and stables.
-
Report and write about pressing issues in agriculture.
-
Lobby for change and advocate for rural communities.
-
Inspire the next generation to step confidently into the Agri world.
Yes, we design what we believe are some of the best shirts you can own — but Ballybar is about more than fabric and stitching. Our clothing is designed to make you feel good, look confident, and get on with whatever the day throws at you. Whether that’s in a field, at a show, in a meeting, or at the mart.
Ballybar is about clothing that works as hard as you do, while giving you the confidence to stand tall.
Why This Matters:
For us, this campaign is about more than clothing. It’s about telling real stories, celebrating rural life, and highlighting the strength and leadership of women across Ireland.
Keep an eye on our social channels and journal over the coming weeks as we begin to share the first stories. The series will run through to International Women’s Day on 16th October, when we’ll release a powerful compilation of all the voices together.
Join us as we celebrate the women shaping agriculture.
