Merry People began in 2014 when founder
Dani Holloway ended up with wet feet and
ruined shoes after her rainy Melbourne
commute.
Dani grew up on a farm in Gippsland Australia and
was familiar with quality gumboots, but was
unable to find any that were fashion and
design appropriate for her city lifestyle - so
she decided to create her own!
